The following web-site has been designed for you,
your employees, and your sub-contractors to obtain
your orientation for Contractor Safety and Security
Photo ID Badges while working on these properties.
This site is designed as an orientation course and
can be used as an individual study course or as a
group facilitated course.
You must be registered and have completed the
specific course and exercise for that specific
railroad prior to working on their property. These
orientation courses are required to be completed
annually. The photo ID Badges are valid
for 2 years.
Tracking the different courses
that you take.
Each Railroad will have a short
evaluation sheet at the end of the orientation
courses for the specific railroads that you are
doing work for. These evaluations will be used to
track your knowledge of key points. Once you have
registered you will select which railroad course and
evaluation you will need to take. You only need to
take the evaluation of the railroad that you will be
working for. This "cafeteria style" approach will
allow you to come back at anytime and take the
evaluation that you need to. You just need to pay
for your orientation course card and if needed your
Photo ID Badge. You can prepay any amount as a
"credit" for your company.
IMPORTANT
Upon completion of your registration and any of the
orientation
courses you will receive a course completion card verifying
any/all of the courses that you have taken. With the
added security needed on Railroad Property
contractor's need to have an additional photo ID Badge (if required or
requested by the railroad). The Security Awareness Course on
this site is tied to your Photo ID Badge. Once you
have completed the security awareness course and
have uploaded a photo you will be issued a
Contractor Photo ID Badge.
You will also be listed on the completion data base which is
available for anyone to review.

contractor photo ID badge and safety orientation while
working on Railroad properties. This site is designed for you as
an individual study course or as a group facilitated course.
You must be registered and have completed
the specific courses for any of the specific areas prior to
working on Railroad property.
Each course will have a short evaluation at
the end. These evaluations will be used to track your
knowledge of key points.
Cost of the photo ID badge is $15.00 (two-year
badge). Cost of the each course is $11.00 (yearly)
